DOWNHILL SKIING : From the resort centre, within 8 minutes
a cable car takes skiers to the Southern slopes and the vast
area for board sports of La Grande Plagne : 225km of pistes
for all levels between 2,000 and 3,000 meters. You can also
enjoy Paradiski ski area : La Plagne – Les Arcs resorts are
450 km of pistes.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING : Crowned by la Grande-Motte and
la Grande-Casse, the plateau of Champagny-le-Haut is
home to one of the most sumptuous Nordic ski terrains in
Savoy. 22 kilometers of pistes kept and well maintained
are waiting for skate skiing or diagonal stride enthusiasts.

On Summer, Champagny, gateway tothe National Park of Vanoise,
welcomes you in a greenery case surrounded by majestic summits
and propose you different activities like : walking, climbing,
mountaineering, adventure course, via ferrata, paragliding, tennis
course, mountain bike, water sports, swimming pool, fishing,
mountain refuges.

In spring :

* Initiatory trips in the middle of fauna (ibex,
roebucks, marmots) and the flora of mountain.
* Special stays : short stay or weekend stay.

- The 24th & 25th January : "The Gorzderette",
An unusual event in an original setting : far from official
competitions, it is a true meeting of mountain lovers : 2 days
of meetings, competitions, partying and demonstrations,
matches and a concert . . . Open to everyone !

- The 9th February 2009 : “Derby du Mont de la Guerre”,
downhill skiing, telemark, snowboarding, this sport event
became one of the most important event for all sort of riders.
Target : downhill one of the longest and most beautiful slopes
of the skiing area of La PLagne “ Le Mont de la Guerre”.
Open to all riders (from the age of 16).

- The 9th February 2009 : “Nordic Derby”, cross country
skiing race by night open to everybody.
Head-on lamps necessary.

- The 21st March 2009 : « La Kramelet », Original TELEMARK
meeting : Initiation, show, descent in traditional costumes,
race by team of 2. Music live, open air barbecue...

- The 9th April 2009 : “4 S Session”, 4 S’s like snowboard,
ski, slope-style & Sound. Slope contest & 2 concerts, open to
13 years old and more.
